What GameLink does
GameLink captures your Android screen only after you approve Android’s system screen-capture prompt. Video and compatible device audio are sent to the receiver that you choose on your local setup, such as a USB-connected Mac or Windows computer. GameLink does not provide a cloud streaming service and does not upload your capture content to Aman Apps servers.
Information stored on your device
GameLink stores setup preferences, onboarding status, and time-limited capture credits locally on your device. This information is used to make the app work and is removed when you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app.
Permissions
- Screen capture: used only after your approval to capture the display you choose to share.
- Audio capture: used to capture compatible device playback audio when Android and the app being captured allow it.
- Notifications: used on supported Android versions for the required active-capture notification.
- Internet: used to request and show rewarded ads and to open support or download links. Your USB capture route remains local.
Advertising
GameLink uses Google AdMob to show optional rewarded ads. Completing a rewarded ad may add a time-limited capture credit. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions, and related information in accordance with their own policies. Sharing and retention
Aman Apps does not sell your personal information. We do not receive or retain your screen recordings or captured game audio. If you contact support, we use the information in your email only to respond to your request and retain it only as reasonably necessary for support, legal obligations, or record keeping.
Children’s privacy
GameLink is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can address the request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is posted. Continuing to use GameLink after an update means you accept the revised policy.
